Five guys from Leicestershire, who've been round the block in a variety of bands over the years, brought together by a shared love of Sabbath riffs, Kyuss grooves, and a desire to jam and see what happens.

Turns out that what happens is a Metal/Doom/Stoner type thing with a whole raft of other elements thrown for good measure. Not tied down to genre restrictions, Mage aren’t afraid to throw in a galloping Iron Maiden-esque outro, or a buzzsaw Thrash Metal section into the monolithic riff-led songs.

With powerful vocals, watertight rhythm, propulsive drumming and wailing solos, Mage are a force to be reckoned with. With a sold out self-titled EP and the internationally well recieved full length album, ‘Black Sands’, under their belts, Mage continue to forge a path through the murky Metal underground with their latest release ‘Last Orders’.

Recorded in August 2014 at Skyhammer Studio in the UK, engineered and produced by Chris Fielding (Conan, Electric Wizard, Napalm Death, Wynterfylleth), 'Last Orders' is a distillation of all of the sonic weaponry in the Mage arsenal.
